Artist's Comments
T'rissae, a female cleric of the drow god Vhaeraun. She took on some personalitly as I was drawing her and has a little backstory at this point. She was born in Menzoberranzan and abandoned the worship of Lolth when she was quite young at the prompting of her brother. Later both were forced to flee when their atyptical religious affiliations were found out.
I'm rather pleased with this one on the whole as I've got some pretty smooth colour blends. The feathers on the mask could be better, in my opinion. Watercolour pencil (some wet down, some left) on paper with some fine-tuning in Photoshop. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
